The Haría City Council, through the Department of Animal Welfare, is organizing the citizen awareness campaign 'Lead by example. Pick up your dog's feces' on the care and control of animals in public spaces, through posters placed throughout the towns.

Mayor Alfredo Villalba emphasizes the need to launch this type of initiative that allows for greater promotion of cleanliness in Haría. "From the City Council, we want to continue building a clean municipality, committed to the environment," he says.

For his part, the Councilor for Animal Welfare, Marcos Lemes, emphasizes that "the main objective of this action is for the population to collect the feces and waste of their animals when they are walking and prevent them from urinating on street furniture."

The campaign recalls other essential rules such as always carrying a muzzle, if necessary, and garbage bags to keep the municipality in the best possible condition, among other measures.
