The Haría City Council, together with Summits Sport, is organizing a new edition of the Haría Music Run Night next Saturday, August 9. This sporting event has become an attraction for runners, walkers and the general public.
The race consists of three fast and accessible routes, designed for the participation of people of any age and sports level. The route will take place on the avenue between Arrieta and Punta Mujeres, and the start and finish will be located on the esplanade of La Garita Beach.
The mayor of Haría, Alfredo Villalba, highlighted that "this activity promotes sports practice among the population of Lanzarote and also provides the opportunity to project the municipality in the regional sphere, within the framework of these series of popular races." "It will also be an opportunity to rediscover Haría, as we will illuminate the main historical buildings, highlighting our heritage and cultural wealth," added the mayor.
For his part, the Councilor for Sports, Alberto de León, pointed out that "this initiative helps to boost the sports and tourist activity of the municipality, together with a festive, playful and accessible environment for everyone." "Participants will be able to enjoy a unique experience through the town accompanied by music, lights and lots of entertainment," concluded the councilor.
Registrations, which are already available for the three distances of 1.6, 5 and 10 kilometers, can be made through the websites of Summits Sports Events and Tripasión Eventos until August 6 or until the 400 places available are sold out.
The Haría Music Run Night is part of the regional series of Music Run Night and has established itself as a prominent event on the summer calendar. In its previous edition, it brought together 2,000 people among all its venues, including numerous family groups.
This event not only promotes physical activity in a playful environment, but also boosts the local economic fabric. In addition, this initiative is part of a varied municipal program that combines culture, sports and entertainment during the summer.
