The Government of the Canary Islands and the Cabildo of Lanzarote have suspended their institutional agenda for this Thursday and have called for a minute of silence for the victims of the DANA in Valencia, Castilla-La Mancha and Málaga.
The minute of silence called by the Island Council will take place at 12:00 noon this Thursday at the main door of its headquarters, located on Avenida Fred Olsen, to show its support and solidarity to the Valencian people and the rest of the towns affected by the cold drop.
Also the president of the Canary Islands Government, Fernando Clavijo, and the regional ministers will observe a minute of silence before the headquarters of the Presidency in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
So far, the passage of the dana has left 92 dead.
