Inalsa's CEO, Mario Pérez, has apologized to the residents of Puerto del Carmen for the possible inconveniences caused by the water supply cut suffered last Saturday due to the replacement and improvement of the pipeline in said tourist town. However, it should be noted that Inalsa already sent a statement to its subscribers in the municipality of Tías on Friday, August 4, warning them of said setback. This Tuesday the service was practically restored.
"However," as Mario Pérez explained, "according to the company's own operating regulations, it is mandatory to have a five-day water reserve for emergency cases such as the one at hand. A precaution that, unfortunately, very few customers carry out." That is why Inalsa's CEO insists on the imperative need for users to have this water reserve to avoid greater damage in the future.
