The Haría Town Council, through the Department of Conservation and Maintenance of Goods and Services, coordinated by Armando Bonilla, is working on the replacement of the bio-healthy gym equipment, due to its deterioration, as well as the placement of new units in different parts of the municipality.
Punta Mujeres and Arrieta have been the first locations where these machines have been replaced, ten and five respectively, as their proximity to the sea causes them to deteriorate more quickly than in other locations.
In the coming days, the five in Órzola, the four in Máguez and the three in Ye will also be replaced, while in Haría, five units will be installed for the first time.
The responsible councillor, Armando Bonilla, conveys the northern Consistory's commitment to "improving the infrastructures for the residents of the municipality, especially our elderly, who can lead a healthier life and exercise with these outdoor devices".
