This weekend, Emerlan carried out the withdrawal of its Emergency Unit that was destined in Valencia to help in the catastrophe suffered after the passage of the DANA.
In total, the Multidisciplinary Emergency team carried out 203 interventions from Monday, November 4 to Friday, November 15.
The first phase of the interventions was based on the search for victims, drainage and the recovery of elevators in buildings with people with reduced mobility who had been trapped for a week without being able to leave their residences.
In the second phase, drainage work, door openings, removal of lampposts and signs that were a danger on public roads due to the risk of falling, and recovery of vehicles in underground garages continued.
Finally, in the third and last phase, drainage, cleaning of roads, recovery of sanitation and cleaning of drains continued to avoid future floods.
The Emergency unit worked coordinated by the Advanced Command Post (ACP) of sector 4 under the orders of the Firefighters belonging to the Valencia City Council, while in the second and third phase the device was coordinated through the ACP 3 under the orders of the Fire Consortium of the Valencian Community.
