The City Council of Haría, through the Department of Citizen Participation, and with the collaboration of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, carried out during the last weeks several training and social actions, in the Sinedad Space of Arrieta, in which dozens of young people from the municipality have participated.
From July 25 to August 3, the young social action Tardeando was carried out, an initiative for young people over 12 years old with games, circus, board games, art, dance, acrobatics or bodypainting.
Likewise, from August 7 to 11, the youth training, Energize yourself and energize, was carried out, whose purpose was to guide them in their studies, their future work and common projects.
The Councilor for Citizen Participation, Paula Montero, thanked the success of these activities and the wide participation of both, where young people have shared very enriching moments and have learned while having fun in a common space.
Among the activities and workshops offered, the following stood out: 'Monitor as educator'; 'Analysis of reality'; 'Interculturality'; 'Recreational resources to intervene in leisure and free time II: The Game'; 'Leisure and integration II: Minors at risk of social exclusion'; 'Animation and dynamization'; 'Recreational resources to intervene in leisure and free time: The game in childhood'; 'Body and musical expression', or the Creativity Workshop.
The young participants will show the knowledge learned by collaborating in different activities that will take place on Saturday, August 12, on the occasion of Youth Day, in Punta Mujeres.
