The Haría City Council is finalizing the details to host Christmas in the municipality with a wide program aimed at all audiences. The different events will begin this Friday, December 5, with the inauguration of the nativity scene, until the eve of Reyes, on January 5, with the Grand Parade

During the presentation of the program, Mayor Alfredo Villalba emphasized the need to organize activities for all family members during one of the most beautiful times of the year, full of magic and excitement," he pointed out.For her part, the Councilor for Culture, Evelia García, pointed out that a series of activities and shows have been prepared for all ages, from the youngest to the oldest. "One more year, the City Council's commitment to offering a festive program where tradition and popular culture will be the main protagonists is reinforced," she stressed.

 

Programming

Among the most notable events, the Christmas program will begin this Friday, December 5, with the unveiling of the municipal Nativity scene, ushering in the festivities.

Next Friday, December 12, the Christmas market celebration will take place, featuring local and artisanal products. This event will be held at the Annex Venue of Haría Square.

In addition, the program will include a **wide range of activities designed for all audiences**, including children's storytelling, candle and Christmas craft workshops, gastronomic activities such as cooking workshops for adults and children, and popular festivals with live music

The public will be able to enjoy musical performances such as Gospel, Tegala ́s Music, Rodando Rodari, Los Viajes de Flip, El Golpito Navidad, Copiar, the String Quartet, and Soloist of the Orquesta Clásica de Lanzarote.

The programming will culminate on Monday, January 5, with the Grand Parade of Their Majesties the Three Wise Men from the East, who will travel through the streets of the municipality, beginning their magical journey at the Hermitage of San Juan. From there, they will head down San Juan street, towards Encarnación Rodríguez street, where the attending public will be able to enjoy the traditional performance of Herod's House, as well as the anticipated presentation of the Master Key and gifts in Haría square.
