Correos has modified its usual summer hours in the Arrecife office and 14 others in the province of Las Palmas until July 20. The objective of this extension is to speed up the postal voting process.
In the case of the office in the capital of Lanzarote, the customer service hours will be from 08:00 in the morning until 21:00 at night.
According to the progress of the delivery of documentation and admission of the issued vote, further extensions in the office hours will be studied, if necessary.
Likewise, Correos assures that "it will hire all the personnel necessary to guarantee the vote in the General Elections on July 23." The messaging company thus announces "an unprecedented hiring".
Postal votes can be deposited until Thursday, July 20 during the mentioned hours.
