Contigo Teguise has searched in satellite photos of the municipality of Teguise as it was before the arrival of Betancort and Duque to the municipal government, the party reports.
"We wanted to see what place Coalición Canaria inherited and the reality has been devastating and sad," confirms Laureano Álvarez. "Oswaldo Betancort and Olivia Duque will go down in history for destroying a natural and beautiful heritage, killing palm trees, destroying hedges and changing green for garbage and pests,” he acknowledges.
"And it is that, over the years we were able to verify how the municipality was progressively abandoned and entire palm groves, parks and gardens were destroyed," he makes clear. As Laureano Álvarez, candidate for the Teguise City Council, says: "The environmental and patrimonial destruction of the environment of our municipality is a true outrage, typical of two irresponsible politicians, who worsened the quality of life of the residents while they plugged their cronies into the city council."

Finally, Contigo Teguise understands that "the municipality needs a total reconstruction, primarily recovering the maintenance of walls and the flora that has survived the Duque-Betancort misgovernment couple," the party shares. Therefore, a change in the City Council is very important, "no one who loves nature or loves Teguise can vote for Oswaldo Betancort or Olivia Duque, our municipality will not withstand four more years of misgovernment", Álvarez concludes.
