Coalición Canaria Lanzarote warns citizens of the "extreme seriousness of the Socialist Party's action in relation to the Cabildo's management of the distribution of seeds from the Experimental Agricultural Farm."

An action that, as pointed out by the general secretary of the Lanzarote nationalists, Pedro San Ginés, "is not an isolated event, but one more example of the drift of an organization that seems to have no ethical or moral limits in order to try to wear down politically."

The PSOE, once again, has starred in an episode of enormous seriousness, generating unnecessary alarm in the population by falsely accusing the Cabildo of Lanzarote of endangering public health due to a simple administrative error in the distribution of seeds at the Experimental Agricultural Farm, an error that was detected and corrected immediately by the responsible technicians, guaranteeing at all times the safety of citizens and farmers.

However, the current socialist leadership, using alarm as its banner as always, stated that “the island is in a situation of extreme seriousness for public health.”

The general secretary of Coalición Canaria in Lanzarote has been blunt: “It is not the first time that this Socialist Party does not care about dragging the honorability, honesty and integrity of public workers in order to build a partisan story. What the PSOE has done is very serious, it has crossed all the red lines, and we cannot allow politics in Lanzarote to be reduced to this level of lack of scruples.”

Pedro San Ginés insists that "politics should be something else: a space to build solutions, not to sow fear." “Enough is enough. What awaits us from now until 2027, if we continue like this, is a scenario in which every human error will be used as a political weapon, passing over officials and technicians in order to manufacture headlines, regardless of the damage caused to citizens or to the professionals who work rigorously. And we are not going to allow that. I appeal to the responsible part of the PSOE to stop this absurdity”, underlines the leader of CC.

Coalición Canaria Lanzarote insists that what happened is just one more example of the practices to which this PSOE has accustomed citizens, and warns that this type of behavior damages confidence in institutions and in those who work in them with rigor and professionalism.

Politics must be responsibility, respect and work for the common good. We cannot eternally waste our energies on barbarities like this one”, concludes San Ginés.
