"Arrecife will pay a quarterly fee of 700,000 euros because of the loan that Astrid Pérez requested for the Ginory"

"The Arrecife City Council will have to face the payment of 700,000 euros every three months due to the whim of the mayor of Arrecife, Ástrid Pérez, who insisted on advancing the payment of the Ginory property with charge to a loan requested on December 16, secretly." This is what the Socialist Party has denounced, which warns that this payment will extend until 2032, which is the "amortization period that it requested in a millionaire loan that no one has ever been able to understand."

According to the PSOE spokesperson, Cristina Duque, “Astrid leaves an economic ruin for the City Council that we will all pay for a decade, seizing the financial capacity of the institution, and all to make the owners of Ginory happy.”

Duque considers that “everything that surrounds her operation made in PP is a black hole that the Popular Party has left us in the city since it took over the municipal defense in the summer of 2010, until Astrid has committed the future of our municipality in an incomprehensible and millionaire loan.”

The councilor affirms that the mayor of Arrecife "has systematically confused citizens with the concealment of information or with lies" in recent months. "She postponed the plenary session in which measures could be taken contrary to the interests of the Ginory property; she secretly requested a loan on December 16; she also paid more than 20 million euros to the property, without anyone asking for it; she lied when she said that the Arrecife City Council was going to save 7 million; she hid that the owners were requesting 5.5 million euros, and the order that proves them right. Even one of her advisors, Juan Mozón, invented that the loan had 0% interest, while he continues to pay monthly," Duque lists.

Now, she affirms that "thanks to the opposition of the PSOE we know that she has indebted the city in a decade" and warns that "with the ineptitude of Pérez, it is difficult for the city to get back on its feet.”
