The residents of the island's capital will now be able to grade the activities organized by Cultura Arrecife. An initiative of the City Council to know the degree of satisfaction regarding the program of activities that its department designs each month.

The mayor of the city has remarked that "this survey will allow us to know the acceptance of the citizens and refocus the cultural proposals that are organized from the City Council." "In the Government group we are open to knowing their opinions and preferences. They will give us a valuable opinion," he said.

Thus, with the clear objective of listening to the citizens and improving the proposals, at the end of each of the activities, the participants will have the opportunity, if they wish, to assess the organization and content of the event, as well as to indicate if the place and the facilities chosen for the celebration of the event, or the day and time, are the appropriate ones.

Likewise, users will be able to make additional comments and even propose events that they would like the Department of Culture to organize in the future.

"We want the population to be an active part of the design of activities and for this it is very necessary to know their proposals first-hand," says Abigail González.

The councilor, stresses that with this initiative "it is intended that all citizens feel represented and that all our neighbors can enjoy Arrecife as a cultural capital, with proposals for all ages and all tastes. An inclusive culture without barriers of any kind."

For the moment, the survey is presented in physical format to be filled in by hand at the place where the activity is held, although it is not ruled out to launch it in digital format.

"We are aware that in the era of digitalization mobile applications are the ones that rule, but we must not forget that a part of the activities is dedicated to the elderly and it is our obligation to put at their disposal those tools that make participation more comfortable for them."

The survey will also serve to, with the prior authorization of the participants, create a database that will in turn serve as a direct line with the City Council so that Cultura Arrecife can send each user in a personalized way those activities that may be of interest to them.
