The Arrecife City Council, through the Department of Public Works, has concluded these first days of May the work to provide night lighting to the streets adjacent to the Argana Alta Municipal Football Field after many years of waiting by residents and passers-by.

The works, carried out directly by the Department of Public Works, to which the Public Lighting Service is attached, have allowed Rancho de Pascua street, a neuralgic road that connects the area of the Municipal Football Field with the area of the Diseminados de Argana, to debut new public lighting, which is already operational since this Tuesday. All the new lighting has led lamps and the connections have been carried out underground.

The mayor of Arrecife, Yonathan de León, direct head of the Department of Public Works, has confirmed that before the end of summer other streets in the Argana Alta neighborhood will also debut new lighting. The channeling work is already underway and is being carried out by several City Council crews.

The residents of these streets in Argana Alta had been waiting for many years for this public lighting installation, which provides them with more security and peace of mind during nighttime hours.

During this term, under the Municipal Government led by Yonathan de León, the neighborhoods of Las Salinas, La Destila, Maneje, and several areas of Altavista and Argana have premiered new public lighting. Currently, the new installations are underway in La Concha, Tinasoria, and several streets and sections in Argana Alta.
