The Arrecife City Council inaugurated this Friday, December 23, the ice rink and the Christmas Market, which will be open until January 5.
"The ice rink is an attraction for both young and old," says the mayor of Arrecife, Astrid Pérez. In addition, next to the ice rink, inside the Music Kiosk, is the "Santa Claus House, a magical place full of surprises."
Astrid Pérez attended this Friday, together with the Councilor for Commerce, Armando Santana, the inauguration of the Christmas Market, an event that is repeated every year and that this edition has a dozen artisans, who will show their work until January 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
"It is more than just a Christmas market, because during these days there will also be commercial and recreational revitalization for the whole family, with two attractions and a crepe stand, as well as musical performances that will liven up the days," adds the mayor, who stresses that this market "is another example of the City Council's commitment to Commerce.

The Councilor for Commerce, Armando Santana, also highlights the figure of the artisan in this Christmas Market. "I invite citizens to come to this market, so that they can see firsthand the work that many Lanzarote residents do with their own hands," he says.
The Arrecife City Council continues to carry out the different events organized to celebrate Christmas, which will end on January 5 with the Great Cavalcade of the Three Wise Men.
