The Social Services area of the Arrecife City Council, led by María Jesús Tovar, has approved allocating 508,750 euros for social action projects. As reported by the City Council in a statement, these subsidies will be allocated to the municipality's associations to promote projects that seek to meet the needs and improve the quality of life of the most vulnerable social groups.
Associations, federations, foundations, and non-governmental organizations, without profit motive, whose purpose is to promote projects in the field of Social Services, whose purposes are in accordance with the municipal interest and the population targeted by the actions resides, mostly, in the municipality of Arrecife, may apply for the subsidy.
The submission period will be 20 business days from the day following the publication of the announcement of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas (May 8).
The procedure for granting these subsidies will be competitive.
