He has been a fundamental piece, always available, always with an open door, always thinking about the collective good. Management Report
In his management report, Robayna recalled the path initiated eleven years ago when “we made the decision to create a management team to regain the sovereignty and direction of Coalición Canaria in Haría”. He emphasized that that stage allowed them to recover the political pulse of the municipality, obtain five councilors, and advance important projects for Haría.
Robayna also championed the role of local committees as "the epidermis of society, those who listen, those who are on the street, and those who support the parties even when we are in opposition," and in this regard, he highlighted Aroa Revelo's "integrity" and potential to take on the leadership of CC in the northern municipality, as well as "her gift for teamwork."
“Empathy, joy, and camaraderie”
The insular general secretary of CC Lanzarote and La Graciosa, Pedro San Ginés, also spoke, praising the step aside taken by "a beautiful person characterized by her noble spirit, loyalty, and faithfulness," in reference to Víctor Robayna; and he described Aroa Revelo as "a breath of fresh air, a person who generates empathy, joy, and camaraderie."
"Important assets" - he said - to which he added the "work capacity" shown by the new local secretary as a councilor of the Cabildo, "which make her the hope for the rebirth" of a municipality that, in his opinion, presents two singularities: being one of the richest, per capita, in the State with the fee it receives from the Tourist Centers - "and therefore with an extraordinary future if managed well" - and being probably the most nationalist on the entire Island," he added.San Ginés stated that "Haría deserves something better," and considered Aroa Revelo - the fourth woman to lead a Local Committee of CC in the renewal process undertaken by the Canarian nationalist party - to be the ideal person, "along with her team," to try to end the nationalist "atomization" of the northern municipality through political leadership.
The event also included the participation of the president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, Oswaldo Betancort, who, after thanking Víctor Robayna for his work, highlighted that "he now passes the baton to a young person who has demonstrated humility, capacity, tenacity, sacrifice, and ultimately, the management that Haría needs," in reference to Aroa Revelo.
In this regard, the also nationalist regional parliamentarian showed his willingness to collaborate from the Presidency of the Cabildo with his government group colleague in the island Corporation, with the aim of "recovering the bastion that Haría represents for Coalición Canaria, with deeds and not with words" and with the "municipal muscle" formed by affiliates, sympathizers, and the people who make up his team.
“Alive, strong, and united”
Aroa Revelo finally took the floor, thanking the outgoing team, led by Víctor Robayna and Pilar González, for their work, as well as the trust placed in her by her party colleagues, in which she has been a member for over a decade."Coalición Canaria in Haría is alive, it is strong, and it is united," Revelo stressed, highlighting as immediate priorities on his roadmap "the union of nationalism, the construction of a real alternative for the municipality, and the combination of young talent with the experience of those who have been working for Haría for years."In this regard, she expressed confidence in achieving these objectives "with the strength and enthusiasm of the team that accompanies me, made up of prepared, committed, humble individuals with a deep love for their municipality.""Politics is about closeness, service, and vocation," stated the new local secretary, recalling the period when Haría achieved great progress thanks to nationalist governments. She also emphasized that the municipality's current problem "is not a lack of resources, but a lack of political will and management capacity." She also thanked Pedro San Ginés for his commitment and the support of the President of the Cabildo, and highlighted the importance of continuing to work to bring nationalism closer to young people“Today we have the opportunity to add up again, to unite again, and to inspire again. Haría is a nationalist municipality, and only through unity can we give our people back the strength, the hope, and the leadership they deserve,” concluded Aroa Revelo, supported by a standing ovation from those in attendance, including the Secretary of Organization of CC Lanzarote and La Graciosa, Olivia Duque, and the Deputy Secretary of Organization, Abigail González; in addition to secretaries from the Local Committees, other organic officials, and public representatives of the Canarian nationalist party.
