The San Bartolomé Town Hall has presented the Interpreted Virtual Tour project of the Casa Mayor Guerra. An initiative promoted by the San Bartolomé Youth Space, which energizes the Community Intervention Project of the town hall, in collaboration with the OxigenArte Project of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, through the Trib-Arte Cultural and Social Association, which is focused on preserving and communicating the historical and cultural legacy of the municipal heritage through the immersive experience with a virtual tour of its facilities.

The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, has pointed out the importance of promoting the municipality's heritage "something that, together with technology, will allow the population and students to learn more about culture, especially for future generations." In addition, he pointed out the "need to know more" about our history "with the aim of transmitting to the youth a commitment to preserve it," he said.

For her part, the Councilor for the Intercultural Community Intervention Project (ICI), Ana Lopes Da Silva, has recognized the work done by the young people, "from whom the proposal arose as a result of the various workshops of the Youth Space, which have brought them closer to the world of virtual reality, in addition to immersing us in the history of this place, an emblem of our municipality."

The Virtual Tour tells the story of this emblematic House of the town of San Bartolomé, with the novelty that it is the young people themselves, through Avatars, who tell it. The document can be viewed with virtual reality glasses or through a video that will be available on the San Bartolomé Town Hall website.

A project that aims to "bring this historical knowledge of the municipality closer to the population in general as a didactic means for the educational centers of the municipality", concluded the mayor.
