Inalsa registered a breakdown in the early hours of this Tuesday in the general supply pipe of Arrecife, causing the interruption of the drinking water supply in the neighborhoods of Altavista, Valterra, El Lomo, the area of Lloret, the Industrial Estate and the upper part of Titerroy.
The breakdown consists of the rupture of the aforementioned pipe at the height of Málaga street with Temisa, in the capital of Lanzarote. Inalsa operators are trying to resolve the incident, "hoping that it will be resolved in the shortest possible time".
Both the Water Consortium and Inalsa assure that they "deeply regret the inconveniences that this fact may cause to the subscribers of the service", although they remember "the obligation to have a reserve deposit of drinking water in accordance with article 8, section K, of the Regulation of the Supply and Sanitation Service of Lanzarote (BOP of Las Palmas, nº 65, of May 30, 2003)".
