The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has activated for this Monday, March 2, the yellow warning for wind in Lanzarote, where maximum gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour are expected.
On the island will blow northwest wind, with greater incidence in exposed areas and elevated areas.
Ahead of Tuesday, March 3, the yellow warning for wind will remain in effect in Lanzarote and a warning for coastal phenomena will be added. North or northwest wind of between 50 and 61 km/h (force 7) is expected and combined sea from the north or northwest increasing to reach between 4 and 5 meters in height, which will mainly affect the north and west coast of the island.
Regarding the weather forecast for this Monday, AEMET announces a predominance of cloudy skies during the first half of the day, with wide clearings opening in the afternoon. However, at the end of the day, cloudy skies will return accompanied by weak to moderate rains.
The minimum temperatures will remain unchanged or in a slight decrease, while the maximums will register few changes compared to previous days.
