Yellow alert activated for strong wind gusts this Thursday in Lanzarote

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated the yellow alert for strong wind gusts in Lanzarote and La Graciosa starting this Thursday. 

According to Aemet, this alert will begin at 06:00 this Thursday and will extend until 23:59 of the same day.

Wind gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour from the northeast are expected, which will particularly affect the southern slope of Lanzarote.

Regarding the forecast for this Wednesday, cloudy skies are expected during the early morning and mostly clear for the rest of the day, except in the north and west, where it will remain cloudy. Temperatures will experience few changes, with lows of 17 degrees and highs of 24. 

The wind will blow moderately from the northeast, strong in the interior and not ruling out some very strong gusts, especially in the southeast.
