Municipal representatives handed over to the parish priest of Yaiza, Jonathan Almeida, on the morning of this Thursday, December 29, the donations made by the southern families to the 'Solidarity Goal', toy collection campaign organized by the Yaiza City Council, through the Department of Sports led by Ángel Lago, on the occasion of the Christmas holidays.
The Goire Rubiconense and Unión Sur Yaiza soccer teams, as well as CEIP Playa Blanca, have collaborated in it, in addition to numerous families from the municipality who came between December 11 and 26 to the established points to make their donations in the form of stuffed animals, cars, games, dolls, balls and other toys that will be distributed among the most needy families of the municipality through the Cáritas organization and that, for sure, will awaken many smiles on the Day of Kings.
The head of the Area, Ángel Lago, has thanked in his name and in that of the Government Group of Yaiza "the generosity of the families who have participated in this initiative so that no child in the municipality lacks a toy this Christmas".
