Dozens of neighbors and authorities honored this Friday the patron saint of Yaiza, Los Remedios, on its big day. The parishioners attended at 7:00 p.m. the celebration of the Solemn Function that was accompanied by the songs of the Yaiza Vocal Group.
After the Mass and with a bit of delay due to a health incident among one of the parishioners, the procession began with the image of the Virgin accompanied by the Municipal Band of the municipality that toured the main streets of the town.
The day ended at 9:00 p.m. with the performance of the singers of the municipality, Verónica Lucía and Alexia Caraballo, and the concert of the national singer Cepeda in the Plaza de Los Remedios. The fireworks display and the festival with the Lanzarote orchestras Rika Banda and Banda Nueva put the finishing touch to the municipal festivities.
