The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts possible storms, weak precipitation, and temperatures over 30 degrees for this weekend in Lanzarote and La Graciosa.

For this Saturday, cloudy skies are expected with a predominance of medium and high clouds, as well as the presence of haze. During the night hours, intervals of low clouds are expected on the northern coasts. Isolated storms cannot be ruled out, which could be accompanied by weak and occasional rain in the form of large drops.

Regarding temperatures, the minimums will remain unchanged, while the maximums will be in slight to moderate ascent, with values that will be between 21 and 24 degrees and 30 degrees. Aemet indicates that it is likely that temperatures could exceed 32 degrees in the southern and southeastern part of the island. The wind will blow moderately from the north, with intervals of strong winds on the southeastern slope where punctually very strong gusts cannot be ruled out.

Looking ahead to Sunday, mostly cloudy or clear skies are expected, with intervals of high clouds, except for intervals of low clouds on the northern coasts, especially during the night. There will be greater uncertainty in the forecast, without ruling out isolated storms. Temperatures will show little change, with minimums between 21 and 24 degrees and maximums that could reach 33 degrees on the southern-facing slopes. Thus, the trade winds will blow with intervals of strong winds on the southeastern and northeastern slopes, where locally very strong gusts will be probable.
