Comisiones Obreras demonstrated this Friday in Arrecife to ask the hotel business associations for improvements in the socio-labor conditions of the workers. The concentration took place on Manolo Millares street in the capital at around 10:00 a.m.
Amid shouts, whistles and drums, the protesters gathered in front of the Lanzarote headquarters of the Insular Association of Hotel and Apartment Business Owners of Lanzarote (Asolan). This protest has also been carried out in Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura.
The union assures that "they are not going to stop until they get these working conditions to change".
