Yonay Alonso on the Telecinco program

Yonay Alonso from Lanzarote was on the Hay una cosa que te quiero decir program on Telecinco this past weekend to tell his personal story and ask his father to resume the relationship between them.

During the program, the presenter Jorge Javier Vázquez narrates the life story of the 21-year-old. When he was only 14 years old, his older sister passed away, which greatly affected his mother psychologically.

As a result of this event, his mother Coralia is admitted to a psychiatric center due to the depression she suffers from, which even led her to attempt suicide. In these difficult times, Alonso begins to need his father more than ever, but he is absent. Faced with the suffering, the Lanzarote native also tried to take his own life on one occasion, something he "regrets very much," he says.

This is one of the reasons why the young man came to this program, hoping to be able to resume the relationship with his father. To do this, the program traveled to Lanzarote to find Rubén, which is his father's name, and be able to deliver the invitation to the program.

However, he rejected this invitation and did not attend, so Yonay Alonso could not speak with him and tell him how he felt. Visibly moved, Alonso had no choice but to resign himself. "I have lived things like this all my life, it doesn't matter, in the end life puts everyone in their place and I believe a lot in destiny," he said.

"He has been absent all my life, it is normal that he did not come, he has never liked anything I have done so he was not going to come to the program but I had hope and illusion, that's why I am here," he said through tears.
