During the final stretch of the celebrations, events such as the Drag Queen Gala or the Election of Miss Tinasoria stood out, a title that fell to Keira Frías Guadalupe, who also received the Miss Popularity and Miss Congeniality distinctions. For her part, Irune Frías Guadalupe was proclaimed Queen of the Festivals, in addition to being distinguished as Miss Elegance.
For her part, Nikol Ainara Lozada and Andrea del Pino Reyes, were chosen 1st Runner-up for Miss Tinasoria and Queen of the Festivals, respectively; while Aissatu Balde and Zaira Rodríguez Guadalupe were chosen 2nd Runner-up in both categories, respectively.
As a culmination, on Sunday the Water Verbena was held for the children's audience, who also enjoyed various games and a playback throughout the festivals, as did the one for the elderly. There were also parrandas, verbenas, bola canaria, musical galas, and dance exhibitions, among other activities.
The deputy mayor and councilor for Festivals of the Arrecife City Council, Echedey Eugenio, expresses his congratulations to the Tinasoria neighborhood's Festival Commission for the excellent development of the celebrations in honor of San Genaro, which in recent days have brought together a large audience of all ages at the Estrella Machín Municipal Sports Court for a varied program of events.
"The figure of Melquiades García Montelongo has been present at all times thanks to the participation and affection shown by all the residents of Tinasoria, who have managed to keep his memory and his commitment to the neighborhood alive," highlights the deputy mayor and councilor for Festivals of Arrecife, alluding to the one who was the alma mater of these Festivals and the true driving force behind the neighborhood activities in this district of the Lanzarote capital.
