Tinajo celebrated one of the most anticipated events of its Carnival this Saturday, March 15th: the Great Carnival Parade. At 7:30 PM, the parade departed from the municipal football field, where troupes, batucadas, masked revelers, and floats joined in, filling the streets of the municipality with color and joy. After the parade, the party continued with a lively street party featuring performances by the groups Atlantis Swing, Tremendo Son, and Banda Nueva, who got all the attendees dancing.
This Sunday, March 16th, the Tinajo Carnival continues with a day dedicated to family fun. From 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the little ones can enjoy inflatable bouncers, while adults and young people will enjoy musical performances by Lanzarote Swing (1:00 PM - 3:00 PM) and Los Conejeros (3:00 PM - 5:00 PM).
In addition, the traditional Carnival Hat contest will be held, which will reward the creativity of the participants. In the adult category, the prizes are valued at 150 euros for groups and 100 euros for couples, while in the children's category, surprise vouchers will be awarded for groups, couples, and individuals.
