Young people from Lanzarote in London are once again denied boarding

Raquel Santana and Brandon Burton have been left on the ground again without being able to fly to Lanzarote this Saturday. According to them, once the Cabildo of Lanzarote learned of their situation, they organized a return flight to the island with Ryanair from Standsted airport.

Once they moved to Stanstead this Saturday morning, "at 04:30 hours and following the guidelines indicated by the Department of Tourism of the Cabildo of Lanzarote to fly with Ryanair on a direct flight to Lanzarote today Saturday, they have been denied boarding again for not having a PCR", says Palma Soria, mother of one of the young people. "I reiterate again because on Thursday the 10th, the day the Decree Law came into force, the same thing happened with EasyJet", she concludes.

The first time they tried to fly back to the island was last Thursday, December 10, when Easy Jet denied them boarding for not having a negative Covid test.
