The Three Wise Men have already arrived on the island of Lanzarote and have been in the island's capital since this morning. Melchor, Gaspar, and Baltasar have been received at the doors of the City Hall by the mayor, Astrid Pérez, and the Councilor for Culture and Festivities, Alfredo Mendoza, to start their tour of the city from there.
In the official reception, where several councilors from the government group and the opposition were present, Astrid Pérez handed over the keys of the city to Their Majesties, who are already touring the streets of the island's capital in three large convertibles. Baltasar, Melchor, and Gaspar are accompanied in their entourage by the pages and several support vehicles, along with the Local Police and Civil Protection, who escort them on their tour.
Given the preventive measures for the control of covid, the Department of Festivities, under the direction of the Deputy Mayor Alfredo Mendoza, has planned an "alternative and different parade" from that of other years. In this 2021, the Three Wise Men of the East departed at 10:00 a.m. from the Arrecife Fairgrounds and are making an itinerary through all the neighborhoods of the capital.

At the end of their walk, together with their pages, Melchor, Gaspar, and Baltasar will greet the little ones at the Casa de la Cultura de Arrecife, between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

From the Department of Festivities, it is requested that families ensure that the little ones see the Three Wise Men from the terraces, portals or balconies of their homes, to avoid crowds on the roads that the Royal Entourage travels and thus guarantee distances and security measures against Covid-19. Likewise, it is reminded that all people must wear masks to avoid new infections.
