Regarding coastal phenomena, significant danger has been declared between 11:00 AM and 7:59 PM, with a probability of 40% to 70%, due to combined northwest seas with waves between 5 and 6 meters on the north and west coasts of the island.
Additionally, during the morning and evening, low danger advisories will remain in effect for the coast, with combined seas from the northwest of 4 to 5 meters and west winds of 50 to 61 km/h, force 7, especially on the north and west coasts. Regarding land winds, **maximum gusts of up to 70 km/h are forecast,** also with a low danger advisory, mainly affecting inland areas of Lanzarote.
Emergency services and authorities recommend extreme caution, avoiding activities on the exposed coastline, and securing objects that could be displaced by the wind, while this adverse episode associated with Storm Francis persists.
