The man from Graciosa, Eduardo Hernández, awarded with the Canary Islands Youth Award 2019

The young man from La Graciosa, Eduardo Hernández, has been awarded the 2019 Young Canary Islands Award', an award convened by the regional government that aims to recognize trajectories of services and relevant actions of a social, cultural, artistic, scientific or sports nature or entrepreneurship in favor of the Canary Islands youth, as explained by the autonomous executive on the portal of the Youth area. 

"He is an example to follow for everyone and we are very proud that a young man from our municipality is awarded with a prize at the regional level. We thank and publicly congratulate Eduardo, a born and tireless worker in youth matters, for this new recognition that I am sure will not be the first or the last", said the mayor of Teguise, Oswaldo Betancort. 

Eduardo Hernández, who also received personal congratulations and through the networks of the councilor delegate of the island of La Graciosa, Alicia Páez, will receive his award, consisting of a bronze figure on a pedestal of Arucas quarry, on November 15 at the Corralejo Auditorium.
