Lanzarote has registered a new peak in daily cases of Covid, reaching 180 new positives in one day. This continues the upward trend that has been registered since last week, and that returns the island to the data from mid-January.
Active cases have also suffered a sharp increase and the Health Department places them this Wednesday at 731, since the discharges notified on this day have been 64.
The cumulative incidence at 7 days has increased almost 60 points and is at 394 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, while at 14 days it stands at 642, with an increase of 31 points.
Regarding the tests carried out by the Health Department, the day before there were 502, compared to the 835 that had been done the previous day.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 20,736 patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus on the island, of which 19,937 have already overcome the disease and 69 have died.
