The Ministry of Health of the Canary Islands Government has reported this Friday that the restrictions that had been imposed on the islands of Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and El Hierro are extended for one week, until September 19, due to having an incidence of more than 100 cases of coronavirus accumulated in seven days per 100,000 inhabitants.

Thus, the prohibition of events of more than 10 people continues, which was initially agreed for 14 days. In addition, the establishments of hospitality, restaurants, terraces, bars and beach restaurants must close at 00.00 hours and may not admit new customers after 23.00 hours; and non-occupational day centers will remain closed.
