Bonfires of Saint John 2021

Fire returned to illuminate and purify the night of San Juan in Lanzarote after the mandatory break due to the pandemic.

Hundreds of bonfires were made in different parts of the island, all done with the supervision of the Lanzarote Emergency Consortium. A night in which joy timidly reappeared on the island.

A day in which there were hardly any incidents. As the manager of Emergencies, Enrique Espinosa, explained on Radio Lanzarote-Onda Cero, the firefighters had to extinguish two bonfires for security reasons, one in Arrecife and the other in Haría.
