The Arrieta festivities will also have special bus services, as announced by the Cabildo of Lanzarote. It will be in the early hours of Saturday, July 30 and Sunday, July 31 when this line between Arrieta and the Arrecife bus station will be launched.
“For the people of Lanzarote who want to enjoy the popular festivities of the Island, we are enabling the necessary lines to cover, above all, the night routes,” says the Minister of Transport, Marcos Bergaz, who underlines the importance of using public transport. “For safe parties, if you drink, don't drive, for yourself and others,” the councillor recalls.
On both days, the Transport Area authorizes the concessionaire company Arrecife Bus S.L. to operate Line 7 with departures at 04:15 hours from the Arrieta Stop. The route will have the following stops: Arrieta – Tabayesco – Mala Abajo – Mala Correos – Mala Health Center – Cactus Garden – Plaza de Guatiza – Cruce el Mojón – Teseguite Abajo – Iglesia de Teseguite – Teguise Health Center – Teguise Town Hall – Nazaret – Las Cabreras – Tahiche – Cruce César Manrique – Tahiche Bajo – El Jamonal – Altavista – Bus Station Platforms.
The service fee will be that corresponding to the application of the current traveler-kilometer rate for that line, as stated in the resolution signed this week.
The transport company must provide a high-capacity passenger vehicle, thus guaranteeing safe mobility for attendees, also indicating from the Cabildo of Lanzarote that another bus must be available if necessary.
Another of the conditions required by Transport is that, due to the characteristics of the service, the City Council must have the presence of the Local Police at the exits in order to guarantee order in the event of any incident that may occur.

The Transport Area also reports that, on the occasion of the White Night of La Villa de Teguise, held last Friday, July 22, a total of 340 people used the special bus service that was set up for this purpose. "These figures represent an increase in the number of users of 81 compared to the same event held in 2019," they point out.
