The Air Force has celebrated, as every December 10, the day of Our Lady of Loreto, Patron Saint of the Air Force.
The event was held at the Lanzarote military airfield, and was presided over by Brigadier General Fernando Torres San José, who is also the second chief of the Canary Islands Air Command. During the celebration, the imposition of decorations, a tribute to the fallen and a military parade took place.
In addition to the main civil and military authorities of Lanzarote, the mayor of the City Council of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, and the councilor of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Marcos Bergaz, attended the event.
