The company in charge of water management in Lanzarote and La Graciosa, Canal Gestión, reported this Wednesday on water cuts in nineteen towns and, ten of them, are suffering breakdowns today due to network incidents. In figures, this lack of supply and breakdowns are affecting a total of 31,975 inhabitants of the island.
In the north of the island, in the municipality of Haría, the towns of Máguez, Arrieta, Punta Mujeres, and Mala have no supply, nor do San Bartolomé and Güime.
In the municipality of Teguise, Las Nieves, Guatiza, Nazaret, Tahíche, Mozaga, and Tao are suffering cuts. The town of Pedro Barba in La Graciosa also has no water this Wednesday.
For their part, in the municipality of Tinajo, La Santa, Mancha Blanca, and Tinguatón are also without supply.
In the southern part of the island, the towns of Mácher, in Tías, and the town center of Yaiza and Uga are also suffering water cuts.
In addition, in ten of these towns, Canal Gestión has reported breakdowns due to incidents. In eight of them, the network has been completely shut down, while the other two (Nazaret and Tahíche) are partially shut down.
