Swell in Lanzarote for this Tuesday while Herminia hits the Peninsula

Aemet has activated the yellow warning for coastal phenomena while the storm has caused the activation of orange and red warnings in various areas of the country

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has declared the yellow warning for coastal phenomena in Lanzarote for this Tuesday and Wednesday.

The warning for the bad sea conditions will begin at 3:00 p.m. this Tuesday and end at 9:59 a.m. on Wednesday. There will be combined sea from the north or northwest and waves that may reach 4 meters in height.

Likewise, the forecast is that the bad sea conditions will continue throughout the week, so the population should be attentive to possible updates of the situation.

As for the skies, on Tuesday there will be a predominance of cloudy intervals with clear openings during the morning and last hours of the day. The minimum temperatures will experience a slight increase, between 16 and 17 degrees, and maximums of 21. The wind will blow moderately from the northeast with intervals of strong in inland areas of the southern half and extreme west during the second half of the day.
