The students of CEO Argana Julia Alemán, Idubaren Cabrera, Ariadna León, Isabella Rojas and Mamadou Sow obtained the second prize in the third edition of Cazabulos, a national educational program that promotes critical thinking and the fight against scientific disinformation.

On June 5, the students traveled to the central building of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), in Madrid, to attend the final gala of the competition after managing to qualify among the best participants of this edition.

During the event, the finalist works were announced, selected from the 251 projects presented by educational centers from Spain and Colombia. The participants had the opportunity to explain how they had applied the training offered by the Cazabulos program to identify and debunk hoaxes related to science. After viewing the finalist videos, the winning projects were announced.

The work presented by the CEO Argana students, titled "Don't believe everything," won the second prize thanks to its rigorous scientific explanation of the UFO phenomenon. The jury highlighted the combination of fresh and dynamic language, typical of social networks, with appropriate use of reliable scientific sources and resources provided by Cazabulos training.

The experience was a great satisfaction for the students, who saw their effort, dedication, and teamwork developed over months recognized. The emotion experienced during the gala and the pride of representing their educational center in a national competition will remain an unforgettable memory. This recognition shows that perseverance, commitment, and enthusiasm with which educational projects are approached have their reward and that good work always pays off.
