Social networks have been filled with criticism as a result of an advertisement broadcast through Instagram in which a container house is offered as a vacation home. The video shows "cube villa" a tourist rental located in La Vegueta, in Tinajo.
The website We Love Tourism, which compiles several vacation rentals on the island, announced this property on social networks. With capacity for four guests and 100 square meters of land area, this accommodation is rented for a minimum of 5 nights for 209.6 euros each, and for a total of 1,048 euros for those five nights.
"What would you think about living in a house in Lanzarote made of containers?", begins the advertising video, while answering "it's wonderful."
However, not everyone thinks the same. "If César Manrique raised his head", can be read in one of the comments published by one of the users; "I have a donkey I could rent the Villa Cubo for him and his friends", continued another user.
