This Thursday begins with the announcement by Canal Gestión that seven towns in Lanzarote are affected by water supply cuts. As announced this Thursday morning by the company in charge of the supply on the island, next week the cuts will be repeated due to the scheduled works at the Las Breñas Drinking Water Pumping Station.

In the northern area of the island, the town of Máguez will be affected by the lack of water supply, while in the central area four towns will suffer these cuts: Los Valles, Charco del Palo, Teseguite and the El Calvario area and part of Tahíche (Teguise).

Regarding the southern area, the towns of Conil and La Asomada will also experience water cuts this Thursday.

In addition, the company has announced that there will be more cuts in the water supply due to the execution of scheduled works at the Las Breñas Drinking Water Pumping Station. Next week, specifically from the afternoon of Monday, June 24, it will be necessary to suspend the supply in the towns of Maciot, Las Breñas, El Golfo, Uga and Yaiza.

As Canal Gestión pointed out this Thursday, it is expected that the service can be restored on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 25, if there are no setbacks. These cuts already occurred this Wednesday in the same areas, which La Voz already announced, and in which it is planned that the service can be restored on the afternoon of Thursday, June 20.
