The San Bartolomé City Council has expressed its "regret and pain" at the death of Francisco A. Pérez García, father of the mayor of the municipality, at 79 years of age.
The Corporation has conveyed its condolences to family, relatives and friends in the face of this recent death. "His time as president of the Eugenia María Armas Martín Senior Citizens is in everyone's memory, remembering him as a man of dialogue and always constructive", they point out from the Consistory.
In addition, they recall that his working life was spent as a worker of the Cabildo of Lanzarote and also highlight "his work as president of the Plaza del Carmen Bowling and Petanque Club, with which he always maintained a close relationship."
From 12:00 noon this Wednesday, the funeral chapel has been installed in the Tanatorio de San Bartolomé. The ceremony will take place on Thursday the 3rd, at 12:00 noon in the Church of San Bartolomé, and then the cremation will take place in the Mémora Crematorium of Arrecife.
