San Bartolomé celebrated the Carnival parade this Tuesday. The route started from the municipality's institute and went along Avenida Alcalde Antonio Cabrera Barrera until reaching Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente Park. The parade had a large influx of public who wanted to join this carnival event. For this, they put on their best costume and showed their rhythm together with the groups and the rest of the masquerades.

The color, music and rhythm came from the hand of the murgas, batucadas and comparsas, who together with the masquerades and groups showed off their fantasies in the arena. The murgas Guacimetitos, Retoñitos, Afilarmónica Las Revoltosas, Los Gorfines, Los Gorfinijos, Los Atrevidos and Las Atrevidas participated in the carnival arena.

Six floats encouraged this Carnival with a varied theme. The heat and color came from the hand of the Sur Caliente comparsa. The Bentchey batucada gave its best, to the rhythm of drums. Once the arena was finished, Los Atrevidos, Las Atrevidas, Las Revoltosas and the Ballet Dance Pop from Uga performed in the Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente Park.

The Councilor for Festivities of San Bartolomé, Áurea Mauri, thanked the "enormous participation of the public and masquerades". "I especially thank all those people, who individually or in groups were part of the arena, showing off their fantasies, and contributing to its success," she indicated. She also had words of thanks for the municipal workers, the groups for their involvement, the groups that presented themselves in the arena with their floats, perfectly dressed for the occasion, and the security forces for the work done.

In addition, she invited all citizens to the Carnival parade, which will take place on Friday, starting at 5:00 p.m., with the burial of the Guachilango in Playa Honda. The parade will depart from Plaza Santa Elena, going through San Borondón and Princesa Ico streets, ending in the old part of the Avenue with performances by various groups.
