Canarias Sin Deuda, a company specialized in the application of the Second Chance Law, has achieved the cancellation of a debt of more than 46,000 euros that prevented a resident of Arrecife from moving forward.
This resolution represents a new beginning for Ana María Duque, who faced serious economic difficulties after the loss of her father in 2020, in the midst of the health crisis caused by Covid. The lack of income left the family in a precarious situation, forcing Ana María to take care of her mother.
"I earned 1,300 euros and paid 2,000 euros in debts. I was overwhelmed, I had no life. I didn't have a penny left," explains Ana María, who, faced with the impossibility of dealing with the situation, turned to different financial institutions. However, the loans she requested and their high interest rates ended up further aggravating her economic situation.
For years, she tried to apply for refinancing without success until she learned about the Second Chance Law. "I heard that it was a great opportunity to get out of all these debts," she says. With the advice of Canarias Sin Deuda, she initiated the procedure that finally allowed her to get rid of the accumulated debt. "The process with Canarias Sin Deuda was very appropriate. They treated me wonderfully, resolved all my doubts and were always available to help me," she says.
The application of the Second Chance Law has meant a before and after in her life. "I finally feel free," says Ana María, who encourages other people in her same situation to learn about this legal avenue. "If someone is in a similar situation, I recommend going to Canarias Sin Deuda. With complete confidence they will help you and guide you so you can get out of your debt, because living like that is not having a life."
