The town of Punta Mujeres took to the streets this Saturday in the XX edition of its Pilgrimage in honor of Our Lady of Pino, one of the most participatory, within the events organized by the Department of Festivities of the City Council of Haría and the Festival Committee itself.
Adults and children were able to enjoy the complete program launched for the occasion since Friday, in which tradition and religious devotion are complemented by different sporting, cultural and leisure events.
On Saturday, decorated barges gave a special color to the route, which, together with the coastal clothing, give a characteristic feature to this typically summer festival.
From the northern Consistory, "the implication of the people in their parties is appreciated, emphasizing the participation, cordiality and tranquility in which the act took place, in which at least 1,500 people participated", according to calculations by the Local Police.
It is worth noting in this special edition the active involvement as promoter of the initiative of Vicente Hernández, worker of the Department of Festivities of the City Council of Haría and president of the Unión Norte Wrestling Club, who left us tragically a few years ago.
