The Government of the Canary Islands has declared the end of the pre-alert situation for wind in Lanzarote and the rest of the archipelago as of 10:00 p.m. on Monday, July 7. This was announced by the General Directorate of Emergencies of the regional Executive after analyzing the information provided by the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) and other available sources.
The decision is adopted within the framework of the Specific Emergency Plan of the Canary Islands for Risks of Adverse Meteorological Phenomena (PEFMA), after verifying the improvement in weather conditions.
Forecast for Lanzarote this Tuesday
For this Tuesday, July 8, the forecast in Lanzarote points to cloudy skies, with a low probability of light and isolated rain during the early hours. Throughout the day, the skies are expected to tend to cloudy intervals in the north and west of the island, and slightly cloudy weather will prevail in the rest of the territory.
Temperatures will remain without major changes, while the wind will blow from the northeast in a moderate way, although from the morning it is expected to be light to moderate, with the north component prevailing.
