The General Directorate of Security and Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands has activated the pre-alert in Lanzarote for possible storms during the weekend.
The warning will begin at 12 noon on Saturday and will continue until the same time on Sunday, both in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura.
According to forecasts, "stormy activity is expected with a probability of up to 40% of occasional storms, which could be accompanied by scattered showers and local gusts of strong wind".
