The Yaiza City Council has proceeded this Friday to open Playa Flamingo after the monitoring and laboratory reports from Public Health that determine the lifting of the temporary ban on bathing.
The City Council is investigating the causes of the incident that led to the closure of the beach.
As will be recalled, Yaiza proceeded to the temporary closure of this beach at noon on Wednesday, February 19, after detecting in an inspection and subsequent analysis of a water sample by Public Health bacteria indicative of sea contamination that advised prohibiting bathing temporarily.
