The State Meteorological Agency maintains the yellow alert for winds and rough seas for this Sunday, January 18, and Monday, January 19.

During Sunday, cloudy skies will prevail until the afternoon, with occasional and generally light precipitation. From the afternoon onwards, some clear spells are expected, although some weak and isolated rain cannot be ruled out. Temperatures will barely change.

The wind will be the most significant phenomenon of the day. It will blow strongly from the northwest from the early hours, with very strong gusts that could reach 80 kilometers per hour in exposed and acceleration areas, with the wind warning remaining in effect for low danger but with a probability of over 70%. From the afternoon, the wind will shift to the north and tend to subside, although locally intense gusts could still be recorded.

On the coast, the maritime situation will be marked by northwesterly winds of between 50 and 61 kilometers per hour (force 7), shifting to the northeast, and a combined northwest sea with waves of 4 to 5 meters, all under a low danger warning
